A challenging employment program
for disadvantaged youth, designed to help develop their awareness of spiritual,
social and mental aspects of life enabling them to become productive members of
the community. We desire to participate in the body of Christ in responsible evangelism
of youth presenting them with the person and teachings of Christ and disciplining
them into the church. |

WELCOME
TO WORTH UNLIMITED!
Founded in 1977, Worth Unlimited is an employment training
program for disadvantaged and troubled youth between 14-18 years of age.
Worth Unlimited stresses the importance of a young person being involved in actual
productive work. Learning by doing is an important part of Worth Unlimited’s
approach. Self worth and a proper sense of identity are closely tied to productive
employment.
Many youth feel a lack of self worth and have rarely known
accomplishment. They have no positive employment record and have often experienced
conflict with the authorities. Youth are often refereed to the Worth Unlimited
program by Alberta Social Services and other community agencies.
Worth
Unlimited’s objectives are as follows: increase a youth’s sense of accomplishment
and belonging, enhance their learning of new relationship skills, prevent the
incidence of further delinquencies, give youth a work experience, increase a youth’s
positive work attitude and performance, help youth obtain regular employment or
return to school, and nurture their spiritual growth. |

UNLIMITED AUTO CENTRE
Worth Unlimited operates an Auto Centre who's
purpose is to teach youth mechanical skills. Worth accepts donated vehicles, repairs
them and in return sells or donates them to those in need. |
