WELCOME TO WORTH UNLIMITED!

Since 1977, Worth Unlimited has been serving the Calgary community by running an employment training program for disadvantaged and troubled youth. This program is for young people between the ages of 15 - 24 and stresses the importance of a young person being involved in actual productive work.  We all know that self worth and a proper sense of identity are closely tied to productive employment; therefore learning by doing is an important part of Worth Unlimited’s approach.

Many youth feel a lack of self worth and have rarely known accomplishment. They have no positive employment record and have often experienced conflict with the authorities. Youth are often referred to the Worth Unlimited program by Alberta Social Services, Youth Probation and other community agencies.

WORTH UNLIMITED'S OBJECTIVES ARE TO:

    • Increase a youth’s sense of accomplishment and belonging 
    • Enhance their learning of new relationship skills
    • Help prevent the incidence of further delinquencies 
    • Give youth a positive work experience 
    • Increase a youth’s positive work attitude and performance
    • Help youth obtain regular employment or return to school and 
    • Nurture the spiritual growth of each youth in our program

Worth Unlimited currently runs an automotive repair shop in Calgary’s North East. Our youth work on donated vehicles with the assistance of qualified technicians. They inspect, repair and certify vehicles then sell them to families or individuals in our community.

We also do basic automotive retail repair work such as: oil changes, tune ups, brakes, tires, shocks and struts, battery testing and replacement, and Insurance inspections. The proceeds from the vehicle sales and retail repairs go directly towards funding the Worth Unlimited Program.

Donating Your Vehicle  

Our program is dependent on receiving donated vehicles. If you would like to support us by donating a vehicle for a tax receipt, please complete the following Declaration and Tow Confirmation Form and contact our office to make arrangements to either drop-off your vehicle or have us pick it up.
