VISIT STREETLIGHT MOBILE DROP-IN CENTRE

StreetLight operates Monday and Thursday evenings. Your small group can join our team of volunteers for an evening of ministry. We ask that only mature adult teams come out, or Youth Groups with the appropriate adult supervision. Streetlight prefers groups of no more than seven people per visit.

When you or your group arrive, you will be taken through an orientation to help you become familiar with the Streetlight ministry and prepare you for the evening. During the evening you and your group will assist the volunteer team in serving food and visiting with the street kids who enter our drop-in. It is a safe and casual environment for you to invest into the lives of others who live in the street culture. Groups are asked to arrive between 7-7:30pm and may leave according to their schedule. Streetlight is in operation downtown until approximatlly 10:30pm.

Streetlight currently parks on 10th Avenue and about 3rd Street SE in Calgary's downtown core. There is parking available either in front of the trailer itself or the block that situates behind it. Most parking in this area is free after 6pm (please be sure to check meters for various restrictions).

Streetlight requests that you contact our office far enough in advance in order to get the date that you set out for as our available evenings can fill up fast.
