YOUTH FOR CHRIST FUNDRAISERS

Youth For Christ Calgary is actively and personally involved in the lives of hundreds of teenagers. Today's youth are looking for answers to many of life's questions and our Youth for Christ staff are there to assist them in helping them discover life-changing truths.

Youth for Christ provides a compassionate Christian response to a variety of teenage struggles. Funds raised in the following fundraisers will provide support for our existing programs and resources to help expand our work which enables us to reach out to even more youth in Calgary and area.

This course occupies a more park like setting. Trees and manicured turf are the aesthetic focus. The upper nine presents spectacular views from the cliff tops. The lower nine is heavily influenced by rising cliffs and the winding creek challenges your game to an incredible finish.

The format for the event will be a Texas Scramble with a great prize available for every player! Lunch and dinner will also be provided.

Cost will be $350 per golfer which includes a $150 income tax receipt. Please note that individual entries are only available after May 5th pending there is room still available.

YOUTH FOR CHRIST IRONMAN GOLF MARATHON

You are invited to participate in a very unique opportunity to play 54 holes of golf on a first class course... for FREE! At the same time, you will be making a difference in the lives of young people, many of whom are at risk and disadvantaged. Please accept our invitation to play in the Ironman Golf Marathon and at the same time make a significant contribution towards helping our young people. Regardless of the personal benefits... the real beneficiaries will be "our kids".

MARATHON SCHEDULE:

7:00 am - Breakfast
8:15 am - Shot Gun Start
11:00 -1:00 pm - Lunch on the course
5:00 PM - Conclude golfing
5:30 PM - Dinner and awards (Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available throughout the tournament.)


DETAILS:

  • 54 holes of golf
  • 36 adult golfers maximum (2/hole)
  • Every twosome has their own power cart
  • Recruit your own partner (optional)
  • Free food and beverages all day

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Raise a minimum of $800 in donations for our Youth for Christ programs from friends and business contacts.


PRIZES INCLUDE:

The golfer with the highest amount of money in sponsorship received will be awarded a fabulous getaway for two! Every golfer who achieves $1,500 or more in sponsorship will receive a $75 gift certificate!


TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

1st 18 Holes - Stroke Play - Low Gross
2nd 18 Holes - Stroke Play - Low Gross
3rd 18 Holes - Twosome - Best Ball Scramble

*If same winner for Round 1 and 2 - the Round 2 prize will go to the Second Place runner.

  • All donations/pledges are fully tax deductible

  • YFC will look after the "Bill Me" donations
  • YFC will provide you with a "sample" letter you can use in requesting donations
